CHMC Silver Certification

CHMC Silver is for home care professionals who have at least one year of documented experience and want to deepen their expertise. The programme adds specialist skill sets — child development, elder care, nutrition, behaviour management, and household administration — and maps them to internationally recognised frameworks including the International Nanny Association (INA) standards and UK NVQ Level 2. On completion you receive a CHMC Silver certificate valid for 3 years, with eligibility to progress directly to Gold or to apply for the Global-Ready Track.

• Understand and respond appropriately to child developmental stages from 0–12 years
• Provide competent elder care including for clients with dementia or mobility challenges
• Plan and prepare nutritionally balanced meals for diverse household members
• Apply evidence-based behaviour management techniques with children
• Manage household administration including budgets, stock, and vendor coordination
• Perform first aid including CPR on adults and children
• Maintain professional care records and incident documentation

• CHMC Bronze certificate OR 1 year of documented home care experience
• Secondary school education or equivalent
• Letter of reference from a previous employer
