For the purposes of applicable data protection law — including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation 2019 (NDPR), and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable — COHCASEL is the Data Controller.

- Background check agencies — only for staff applicants, with their written consent
- Cloud infrastructure providers (hosting, database, storage) under strict data processing agreements
- Email and SMS service providers for transactional communications
- Analytics providers (PostHog, Google Analytics) — in anonymised or pseudonymous form
- Legal authorities — when required by Nigerian law, court order, or to protect our legal rights
- Successor entities — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (you will be notified)
All third-party processors are contractually required to handle your data in accordance with applicable law and may not use it for their own purposes.

Where our services involve care for children (e.g., childcare services), data about minors is collected only from their parent or legal guardian, and processed solely for service delivery purposes with the guardian's explicit consent.
